Storage – Replication – Updates
Real Obvious Trusted Repository Services (TRS) securely stores Certified Datasets used by Real Obvious Trusted Private AI. TRS also securely replicates Certified Datasets stored on another TRS. Updates to Certified Datasets are available from a Real Obvious managed TRS (subscription and Internet connection required).
Storage – Real Obvious TRS securely stores Certified Datasets using local storage (on-premise or cloud). TRS supports industry standard version control / repository solutions (e.g., GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, subversion, and more).
Replication – Real Obvious TRS supports replication (secure data transfers) of Certified Datasets from other TRS instances (direct connect or “Sneakernet”).
Updates – Keep your Trusted Private AI services up to date. Our automated CI/CD Trusted Software Factory (TSF) produces Certified Datasets (software and data) on a regular basis which can be securely replicated from and stored on your TRS (subscription and Internet connection required).

Private AI systems operate behind a network firewall. Connectivity to the Internet is typically limited to select sites. Real Obvious Trusted Repository Services (TRS) is used to replicate Certified Datasets (trusted software and data files) to the Private AI system.
Isolated Enclave AI
An isolated enclave Private AI system operates totally disconnected (air-gapped) from all outside networks. All software and data files (Certified Datasets) required to operate the system are replicated by an Internet connected Real Obvious Trusted Repository Services (TRS) then Sneakernet transferred to the isolated enclave system. Examples include dark sites, classified systems, and test systems.

Online Environments – The Real Obvious Trusted Software Factory (TSF) acquires software and data (aka datasets), tests / verifies / validates the datasets, transitions datasets from untrusted to trusted, and then publishes the trusted / certified datasets to a Real Obvious managed Trusted Repository Service (TRS) system. Access to the Real Obvious managed TRS service is available to all Real Obvious licensed customers (Internet access required).
Offline Environments – Customers with an Enteprise+ license have the option to run their own private TSF / TRS instances (Internet connection optional).

Self Managed Real Obvious Trusted Solutions (AI, TRS, TSF) are licensed on a yearly basis. There are three licensing plans available.

- Enterprise – Operate highly available / redundant Trusted Private AI services on your own cluster of systems in the cloud or on-premise.
- Enterprise+ – Operate multiple highly available / redundant Trusted Private AI services on your own clusters of systems in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.
Real Obvious Trusted Repository Services (TRS) supports block data storage and Network Attached Storage (NAS) as secure storage for certified datasets.
Real Obvious TRS integrates with GitLab, Huggingface, JFrog Artificatory, YUM, and more.
Once a license has expired, all systems assigned to that license are unable to access Real Obvious Certified Dataset Updates, and are unable to download software updates.
